ESEA F800 Named Electric Boat of the Year 2026

We are proud to announce that ESEA F800 has been named Electric Boat of the Year 2026 at the prestigious Boot van het Jaar awards, presented on the eve of the 41st HISWA te Water in Lelystad, the Netherlands.
Selected from a strong field of electric boats, F800 impressed the jury with the way it brings together design, silence, speed, technology and pure enjoyment on the water.
The jury described ESEA F800 as a modern and elegant boat with outstanding handling characteristics and an almost silent propulsion system. Even at higher speeds, the drivetrain remains remarkably quiet — transforming the experience of fast boating by retaining the exhilaration of speed while removing almost all propulsion noise.
The award represents exactly what we set out to achieve with ESEA Boats.

From the beginning, our ambition was never simply to replace a combustion engine with an electric motor.
We wanted to rethink what boating could feel like.
The result is ESEA F800: a day boat designed around the characteristics of electric propulsion, where near-silent performance becomes an integral part of the experience rather than simply a technical feature.
According to the jury, this is where F800 distinguishes itself. The combination of speed with an almost completely silent drivetrain demonstrates a new way of electric boating, while its elegant design, excellent handling and playful character make the experience equally compelling behind the wheel.
The jury concluded that among the three finalists, ESEA Boats brought the different elements of electric boating together most successfully, highlighting the F800’s elegant appearance, excellent handling characteristics, virtually silent propulsion and the enjoyment it creates on the water.

The recognition is an important milestone for ESEA Boats and for everyone who has contributed to the development of F800.
