Amsterdam, August 2026 — ESEA Boats is proud to announce that the ESEA F800 has been nominated for the prestigious Electric Boat van het Jaar 2026 award in the Netherlands.
The nomination marks an important milestone for ESEA Boats and represents recognition of our vision for a new generation of boating — combining electric propulsion, intelligent technology and effortless enjoyment on the water.
Designed from the outset as a pure electric boat, the ESEA F800 brings together contemporary yacht design, intuitive operation and a remarkably quiet cruising experience.
Its philosophy is captured in three words: Easy. Smart. Silent.
Selected for the 2026 jury evaluation.
As part of the Electric Boat van het Jaar 2026 selection process, the professional jury will step aboard the ESEA F800 for an on-water evaluation at Bataviahaven in Lelystad on Sunday, 31 August 2026.
The jury sea trial will take place ahead of HISWA te Water 2026, allowing the judges to experience the F800 where it matters most — on the water.
For ESEA Boats, the nomination is particularly meaningful because the F800 was not created by simply replacing a conventional engine with an electric drivetrain.
Instead, it was designed from the beginning around the possibilities of electric boating.
From quiet propulsion and intelligent onboard systems to its open deck layout and carefully considered details, every element of the F800 has been developed to make boating easier, smarter and more enjoyable.
Electric boating changes the experience itself.
Without the constant presence of engine noise, cruising becomes calmer and more connected to the surroundings. Conversations become easier, the sound of the water becomes part of the journey, and life on board takes on an entirely different atmosphere.

The winner is announced at HISWA te Water.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, from 17:00 at Podium aan het Water during HISWA te Water.
